Projects
Digital Systems for Climate & Watershed Resilience
A portfolio of decision-support platforms, geospatial intelligence tools, and data infrastructure built at the intersection of enterprise product thinking and climate science.
Featured Project
Himalayan Watershed Intelligence Platform
HWIPThe Problem
The Himalayas sustain over a billion people downstream, yet the digital infrastructure for monitoring and managing these watersheds remains critically fragmented. Data exists — satellite imagery, hydrological records, climate models — but it is siloed, inaccessible, and rarely translated into decision-ready intelligence.
The Approach
HWIP applies enterprise product rigour to this gap: a unified data pipeline, a geospatial intelligence layer, and a district-level dashboard that translates complexity into clarity for non-technical decision-makers.
Build Phases
Data Architecture
Unified pipeline integrating satellite, hydrological, and climate data sources into a single queryable layer.
Geospatial Intelligence Layer
GIS analysis, remote sensing processing, and spatial indexing for watershed health indicators.
District Dashboard v1
Operational water-resource intelligence dashboard for district administrators and water managers.
Climate Adaptation Module
Scenario modelling and resilience indicators for climate adaptation planning at district scale.

Active & Upcoming Systems
District-Level Water Resource Intelligence Dashboard
An operational dashboard providing district administrators and water resource managers with real-time intelligence on water availability, stress indicators, and seasonal trends — built on integrated geospatial and hydrological data.
Key Outcomes
- Integrates satellite, ground-truth, and hydrological data
- District-scale water stress and availability monitoring
- Seasonal flow forecasting and trend analysis
- Designed for non-technical government users
Watershed Health Monitoring via Remote Sensing
A remote sensing pipeline applying multi-spectral satellite imagery and change-detection algorithms to monitor vegetation cover, glacier retreat, land-use change, and erosion patterns across Himalayan watershed zones.
Key Outcomes
- Glacier retreat and snow-cover time-series analysis
- Vegetation index and land-use change detection
- Erosion and sediment risk spatial mapping
- Long-term trend analysis for watershed health
Climate Resilience Planning Framework
A scalable digital framework enabling governments, NGOs, and communities to assess climate risk, model adaptation scenarios, and track resilience indicators over time — designed for practical deployment in field conditions with limited connectivity.
Key Outcomes
- Climate risk assessment and scenario modelling
- Resilience indicator tracking over time
- Lightweight deployment for field conditions
- Policy-ready output formats for government use
Water Policy Intelligence Briefs
A structured programme translating complex geospatial and hydrological data into concise, evidence-based policy briefs — bridging the gap between scientific data and actionable water governance decisions for government stakeholders.
Key Outcomes
- Evidence-based policy brief series
- Stakeholder-ready data visualisations
- Cross-agency data sharing frameworks
- Targeted at district and state-level decision-makers
Product Approach
Enterprise Rigour Applied to Climate Challenges
Data-first architecture
Every project starts with the data layer — ensuring pipelines are reliable, reproducible, and scalable before building any user-facing layer on top.
Non-technical users at the centre
The end users of these systems are district administrators, field officers, and policy makers — not data scientists. Design decisions are made accordingly.
Modular and composable
Each component — data pipeline, intelligence layer, dashboard — is built to be reused and recombined across different watershed contexts and geographies.
Field-deployable
Systems are designed to function in low-connectivity, resource-constrained environments — because that is where the decisions that matter most are made.
